PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
Our board area Digital Business Services (DBS) drives software adoption, ensuring customers implement and run what they buy, whilst safeguarding maintenance and subscription. Our customers are looking to us to guide them through their digital journey and our mission is to lead servitization globally in the new digital economy.
To achieve this we have three main priorities:
Move customers to the Cloud, realize the digital enterprise and help our customers establish S/4HANA as their digital core.
We therefore offer comprehensive services for every aspect of customers' software implementation or upgrade project as well as operations, including continuous improvement, quality management, problem resolution, and knowledge transfer.
Our Center of Expertise (CoE) is supporting our premium customers with these tailored support services. The strength of our Centers of Expertise, as part of Digital Business Services, is to provide Expertise on Demand, instant resolution of top pain points, fast access to best practices/information, detailed quality assurance, proof of concepts and acts as trusted advisor for SAP’s latest innovations.
In the role of a support associate/engineer, you will work in the Center of Expertise with focus on SAP’s latest and innovative integration products like SAP NetWeaver Process Integration (PI) / Process Orchestration (PO), SAP cloud integration products like HANA Cloud Platform, classical SAP integration solutions like IDoc/ALE, RFC, WebServices and more. Within a short time, you will learn how to integrate SAP on premise solutions with SAP’s Cloud solutions and 3rd party products and gain a unique technical expertise and be able to lead and guide our customers into the new era of digitalization.
Within an extensive training phase, you will receive personalized and group training for specific product, technology and development knowledge. You will also receive on-the-job training fitted for your future responsibilities. Your personal mentor will help you to develop into your expert role by elaborating an individual development plan. After all training activities you will start delivering customer project services in a team together with our senior experts.
EXPECTIONS AND TASKS
Understand capabilities and limitations of certain technical environments & selected SAP technologies, relating it also to customer needs
Translate business and integration requirements into technical concepts
Implement technical concepts & requirements with SAP’s innovative focus technologies and programming languages (e.g. Java, C, C , ABAP, etc.) in proof of concepts or smaller projects
Meet customer expectations by anticipating and resolving their issues
Act as trusted advisor, supporting customers within SAP’s latest innovative solutions end to end from design, build, test to go live and operations.
Review, analyze, safeguard and optimize selected complex SAP software solutions and technologies at our customers, making every customer project a success
This task will also include the delivery of onsite and remote services for global customers with focus on technical solution validation, performance & scalability, system stabilization and solution operations
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Very good Master degree in Information Technology, Mathematics or Physics.
You have very strong analytical and logical skills.
Excellent English and German language skills, both spoken and written, European Citizenship is a must
You have basic knowledge in OS like Windows, Linux and some good experience with Databases
You are capable to work under time pressure.
You are interested in understanding, analyzing and resolving technical problems
You have good communication skills.
You like to work in diverse teams but also can produce high-quality work results on your own (autonomous)
You are interested in customer support oriented work with a results-oriented approach.
You are willing to travel abroad primarily within the EU but also worldwide for periods of time.
A proactive, quick learner and creative problem solver who enjoys being in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys customer interactions
Is welcome but not a must.
The position can be filled as part time position.
