The integration of credit card data is one of the most important topics in the spend area. There is no more need for travelers to manually enter their expenses; instead all credit card paid expenses are automatically imported into the system ensuring high data quality and integrity.
As a cloud software development department within SAP in location Walldorf / St. Leon-Rot, we are contributing to development in Concur Travel and Expenses.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
You will work together with a great team of experienced and engaged 8-10 cross-functional and diverse development experts in designing new features and re-architecting existing ones in the area of credit card integration.
Design and develop code to scale to increasing numbers of users: The biggest corporate Expense tool is growing, and our product needs to scale along with our customers.
Ensure a high software quality by designing, developing and executing manual and automated tests suites.
Help resolve customer impacting issues in production: Provide the technical knowledge and analysis to find root cause and resolve service outages.
Contribute in architecture design and concepts
Communication with internal and external stakeholders like Concur Product Management, Concur Support and Credit Card Partners.
Ensure smooth service operations
Continuously learn and self-develop
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
University degree in computer science, engineering or similar area
Qualified IT Specialist
Responsible leadership for subprojects
Good knowledge of software design and development process
Good knowledge about development tools e.g. Jenkins, Ansible, Artifactory, Maven, Gradle, Kibana
Experience in operating a service
Openness to work in a Java environment containing different technical platforms
Readiness to work across all technology layers from UI to persistence layer
Very good communication skills in both German and English (oral, written)
Practical experience with SQL
Know-how in SaaS and Cloud Software Development
Knowledge in test automation development
Good understanding of Agile Development
Application Know-how in Travel and Expense Management
Experience in development of complex software solutions
Minimum 2 years’ experience as Senior Developer
