PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
SAP Education is the world's largest IT Education provider and a recognized market leader, successfully delivering customer and partner enablement for several years. The mission of SAP Education is to drive customer success by extending its reach of enablement across all customer lifecycle hases, across all target audiences (e.g. end users, project teams, and partner consultants), and to increase customer and market penetration in a significant way. Internally, SAP Education also serves as the de-facto knowledge transfer organization within SAP.
EXPECTIONS AND TASKS
The Senior Education Portfolio Specialist is responsible for the full Education Portfolio in the MEE Region.
Analyze market potential
Analyze Portfolio Needs of Market Units and Channels within region MEE
Actively manage Education MEE Portfolio regarding future development (short/mid-/long-term)
Be central point of contact for Education global and address Education MEE requirements towards Education global and assure execution
Manage Education content lifecycle with regular proposals for new courses, retirements for the outdated content, translations planning
Manage Education portfolio budgeting for content development
Create the business cases for new regional education offerings
Support management decisions with the detailed Education reporting
Plan and perform internal sales enablement for SAP employees and external business development activities for customers and partners
Evaluation of new innovative business models for existing and future portfolio
Definition of the pricing model for the respective Services
Roll-out portfolio relevant information to all colleagues with customer responsibility/contact leveraging sales kit.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Experience with Portfolio Analysis Methodologies (e.g. Boston Matrix)
Knowledge of the SAP internal processes for offerings
Good overview of the SAP product portfolio - in depth knowledge of SAP Education products
Experience in creation and presentation of offers and/or service offerings
Wide and profound knowledge in all education processes
Represent the education portfolio internally and externally
Very good presentation and communication skills in German and English
Analytical and entrepreneurial thinking
Highly motivated, innovative and independent
Minimum of 5 years professional work experience, ideally in the area of SAP Education
Deep knowledge in SAP Portfolio Management
