PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
The newly formed S/4HANA Cloud Product Management, Co-Innovation and Packaging team has the necessary resources, talent and focus to ensure customer success with SAP S/4HANA Cloud. Rapid delivery of new content remains one of our key competitive differentiators, and because of this, we have already been working closely together within the framework of the joint projects as shown below. A fully integrated model – bringing teams closer between product and content – ultimately provides value to our customers.
As a new team, we hold the cloud product ownership with end-to-end responsibility and are therefore in the driving seat to deliver leading end-to-end solutions to the cloud market.
Best Implementation Practices, across all Lines of Business (LoB) and innovative solution areas are packaged and offered as SAP Best Practices. Use of this content allows our customers to achieve rapid time to value and a low total cost of ownership in their S/4HANA Cloud investment.

As a Scenario Owner for packaged solutions you take responsibility for the definition, delivery and market success of specific solution package offerings in the area of cloud and on-premise integration. You assess target markets, define a clear scope, and create use cases using real-life best practices under the consideration of commercialization and channel aspects. By collaborating extensively with global stakeholders you ensure stakeholder alignment and the incubation of new ready-to-consume solutions. You build relationships with selected lighthouse customers and support a successful commercialization.
The cloud teams embrace those objectives by providing Best Implementation Practices for cloud solution adoption in the Procurement (Ariba, Fieldglass, and Concur) and HR area (SuccessFactors) as well as for innovative products like SAP S/4HANA. Our content supports our customer’s journey to transform their business by scaling and enabling the adoption of SAP’s most innovative products.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
We are looking for a talented (senior) product specialist, to strengthen our team. You will be responsible for the definition, delivery and success of a ready-to-consume packaged solution. In this role you define use cases and a clear scope, based on real life best practices adopted by customers and stakeholders. Collaboration with the development organization to execute on the solution is significant part of the daily work.

This position requires close collaboration with the product team and the ability to establish itself as a collaborative partner, while maintaining focus on our objectives. It offers a unique opportunity to define and establish SAP Best Practices processes with cutting edge technology and innovative new products.
You will define clear scope and use cases for Best Implementation Practices and utilize cutting edge technology to support integration with SAP’s cloud solutions including SAP’s flagship solution S/4HANA by leveraging middleware tools
You will collaborate closely with the product development teams to integrate Best Implementation Practices for an innovative product and to be involved in the building of the Best Implementation Practices
You will have product ownership and as such define a product road map, scope and direction for an entire product area, from strategy to execution all the way through product delivery
You will collaborate with the development organization to get those concepts established and deliver a valuable solution for our customers
You will actively seek feedback on your deliverables from stakeholders, such as partners and customers and synthesize requirements into executable deliverables
You will work on assets supporting the use and adoption of those solutions with our customers
You will take on the responsibility for this solution and act as a thought leader and evangelist with stakeholders at internal and external events
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
University Degree (BA, Bachelor or Master) in Informatics, Information Technology, Computer Science or related fields
Excellent presentation, networking and communication skills
Team worker and open communicator in a multi-cultural environment
Can-do attitude with strong customer focus, self-motivated and eager to learn
Strong technical background in the area of Controlling, Financial Accounting and/or Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC)
Experience with, and solid understanding of integration technologies
Willingness to embrace new topics and technology
Self starter with passion to be a hands-on expert in the required filed
Customer orientation with a strong focus on quality
Ability to work in an international team
Willingness to travel worldwide
Very good English language skills
Understanding of SAP products and solutions, particularly GRC
Hands-on implementation experience with GRC
Hands-on experience with cloud integration (cloud to cloud, cloud to on-premise)
Experience with S/4HANA either On-Premise or Cloud Enterprise Edition
Technical experience with middleware technologies (HCP and HCI) is a plus
Ability to understand and analyze customer needs, synthesize requirements and drive execution towards successful delivery
Strong communication profile with the ability to engage with stakeholders
Excellent presentation and networking skills
Strong understanding of the marketplace for Governance, Risk and Compliance solutions
Experience developing, implementing, selling or supporting SAP GRC products is considered helpful
