PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
Organizationally located within Global Controlling, the P&I Controlling Team supports SAP’s Global Development Organization in all controlling-relevant processes: budgeting, forecasting and month-/quarter-/year-end closing. In addition, the team offers its business expertise in portfolio evaluations and ad-hoc reports making “the difference” in decision-making processes.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
During the internship you will have the chance to gain a deep insight into a state-of-the-art controlling department. In particular your assistance will be required for the following topics and tasks:
Support the P&I Cross Controlling Team in their daily tasks on various topics, e.g. budget and forecast process
Reporting provided to the Products & Innovation management team
Ad-hoc tasks and special projects
Master data maintenance of our controlling structures
The duration of the internship should be six months, starting either January or February 2017.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Student (f/m) at a university or university of applied sciences in Business Administration, Economics or a comparable field of study with focus on finance/controlling, ideally with a pre-degree or comparable duration of studies with sound results.
Computer skills: Good knowledge in MS Office (especially Excel/PowerPoint)
Language skills: Fluent in German and English - both written and spoken
Soft skills: Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
Others: Ability to work in a global team, high degree of proactivity, strong get-it-done mentality as well as willingness to deliver accurate results
