PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

Global Procurement Organization @ SAP was established as a world-wide organization, leveraging the purchasing power of SAP as a whole. The continuous improvement and maintenance of strategies, methods and tools to manage global purchasing and supplier management effectively is one of the major goals. Extending and strengthening internal relationships and building win-win partnerships with preferred suppliers is essential for making the Global Procurement Organization powerful and effective. SAP is looking for experienced, energetic and dynamic individual to join us in this exciting role in a global organization.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

  • General assistance for GPO team and managers

  • Planning and coordination of meetings with stakeholders

  • Preparation and wrap-up of meetings and workshops

  • Preparations of PowerPoint Slides and analyses in Excel

  • Coordinate travel arrangements and travel expense settlements

  • Communication in English with internal customers or external suppliers (via e-mail and phone)

  • Evaluation, structuring and consolidation of information and results

  • Project support

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Student (f/m) at a university or a university of applied sciences (FH) - all fields of study are equally preferred

  • Computer skills:

  1. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  2. Student should know, in detail, Microsoft pptx and be able to demonstrate skills in an interview setting

  • Language skills: Good written and verbal skills in English and German is a must

  • Soft skills: Proactive thinking and good sense of responsibility; Organizational talent; Self-motivation and ability to work independently with focus on results; Flexibility and ability to work in a team; Strong communication skills
