PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

The Knowledge Transfer & Education (KT&E) organization industrializes the knowledge production, pushes innovation in knowledge transfer, and productizes experience-based knowledge within SAP. KT&E produces trainings for SAP employees, SAP partners and customers, and supports SAP Education, the largest IT training provider in the world. The Shared KM Services (SKMS) unit within KT&E is a very diverse team with team members all over the world, and it delivers powerful, scalable and customer-focused media, survey, reporting, and event services.

Virtual Event Services’ focus is on event support of course and our team is based out of Walldorf, Ireland, Canada, China and India which makes us a very diverse team. Most of our dialogues take place in English and we are looking for a motivated, highly organized, and open-minded intern (f/m) to actively support the program management team on related topics.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

  • Support the team to manage and promote the virtual event service portfolio to SAP’s professionals and key clients

  • Support the team with the administration, organization, execution, and delivery of live training sessions and preparation work for highly targeted content and multimedia formats

  • Support and drive key projects, for example, documentation of internal processes, reporting standardization, develop business case for new service offerings

  • A team player, ability to multi-task and work in cross-functional, fast-paced environments with the pressure of multiple deadlines

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Current university student (f/m) - preferred field(s) of study: program that is applicable to the position

  • Previous exposure to a fast paced and a multi-cultural business environment

Required skills:

  • General PC proficiency and knowledge of business software applications, profound knowledge in MS Office e.g. MS Outlook, MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, etc.)

  • Excellent communication skills in English and German (written and verbal)

  • Ability to plan, secure commitments, set priorities and work to tight deadlines

  • Well-organized and have an advanced time management

  • Expertise in some or all of the following areas: Knowledge Management, Learning, Enablement, Communication, Marketing, etc.

  • Team player, proactive networking attributes, results and execution focused, self-starter

Preferred skills:

  • Knowledge of SAP’s organization, product and learning portfolio

  • Relationship & network building skills
