PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

The Global Design team defines the face of the SAP products. We have dramatically simplified our user experience with SAP Fiori at https://experience.sap.com/fiori . We are now looking for you as experienced cross-cultural Designer / Researcher to join us in driving this change going forward.

Together with our customers we innovate on product design and methodology. In highly dynamic focused projects we cultivate teamwork and entrepreneurship to explore new ways to define enterprise software.

The Global Design team creates the interaction design concepts, floor plans, patterns, controls and guidelines at https://experience.sap.com/fiori-guidelines/ that are used across all areas of the organization as well as by our customers and partners.

Together with the core UI development teams we assure the implementation and delivery of designs and tools for our product development teams. We develop strategic product designs to seed new concepts and designs into the organization.

You will become part of an exciting and international team of designers that works in the heart of SAP with touch points to all continents and cultures.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

 

You are curious, creative and committed to quality? Together with experienced interaction designers you will create designs, prototypes, and presentations. You will gain deep expertise in the process of user centered design in a software company. We set the focus on mobile and consumer grade applications that make enterprise processes lighter and easier. Start as soon as possible, duration 6 months.

 

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

 

  • Student (f/m) at a university or university of applied sciences

  • Computer skills:

  • Advanced skills in Prototyping tools (preferably Axure, Adobe Photoshop or Adobe InDesign)

  • Experience with Wordpress is a plus

  • Experience in creating visual appealing products (e.g. websites, presentations or mobile apps)

  • Language skills: Fluency in German and English

  • Soft skills: Excellent communication skills

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume, school leaving certificates, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, work samples and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please describe as well your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs/ programming languages.
