Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Location: Germany (near Frankfurt)

6-12 month contract with possible extension

The Company

Consol Partners client is a well-known global electronics company that is a leading supplier of consumer and business related electronics products. They are continuing to grow and expand their varied business into new areas and we are looking for skilled people to help lead their new projects and ventures.

The Role

– Software Quality Assurance (SQA)

  • Generation of JIRA tickets for creation and review of the development documents
  • Supporting project members in compliance with the quality guidelines
  • Check compliance with document creation and review requirements
  • Assistance in carrying out audits and reviews
  • Support for training
  • Create metrics and statistics
  • Creation of quality reports

– Software Process Improvement (SPI)

  • Preparation of process descriptions according to the requirements of the process managers
  • Elaboration of improvement measures with the process managers
  • Creation of templates, guidelines and checklists
  • (MS Word / Excel / Powerpoint / Enterprise Architect)
  • Support for cause analysis in the event of a fault

The Individual

– Bachelor / Master in (Technical) Computer Science / Information Technology / Internet Informatics

– Professional experience in the software quality assurance of infotainment and e-mobility systems for the automotive industry are an advantage

– Knowledge and practical experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Experience in software development with C, UML, XML
  • Experience with the methods of software engineering
  • Experience in software quality assurance
  • Advantage: Experience in Automotive SPICE

– Openness, intercultural competence and willingness to work together in international teams, trustworthiness

– Communication strength, flexibility, high motivation, endurance and commitment

– Good English language skills in spoken and written. German is nice to have too.

Salary: €40 - €60 per hour
