Spiceworks - Remote Senior Account Executive (Digital Media Sales), DACH Market in Germany

We’re on the hunt for a top notch Digital Media Sales person to work with leading tech brands in Germany. You’ll help them use the Spiceworks innovative social business platform to take their marketing initiatives to the next level. For this role you can be based anywhere in Germany, in a work from home environment.

Your day-to-day:

  • Actively prospect and find new business opportunities in the DACH market, to cultivate into paying clients

  • Work with our market intelligence team to understand your prospects’ business challenges

  • Devise and pitch sales proposals that speak to client needs

  • Analyse client products, needs, problems, advertising history, and business practices in order to offer effective sales presentations and proposals

  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations to new and existing customers to drive new business as well as protect and increase existing advertising

  • Educate clients on Spiceworks advertising solutions to help them reach their marketing goals

  • Manage clients, contracts, and delivery of payments. Our Client Services team will work alongside you to ensure the campaign delivers successfully!

  • Consult with company officials, sales departments, and advertising agencies in order to develop effective promo plans for your clients

  • Attend sales meetings, industry trade shows, and seminars to network and keep up to date with industry developments

What does it take to do this job?

  • Digital media sales experience, with a track record of hitting revenue targets

  • Experience in structuring and closing deals with multiple variables

  • Full product training provided (2-week training session at Spiceworks HQ in Austin), IT knowledge is not required

  • Strong organisational, interpersonal and presentation skills

  • Ability to thrive in a work from home envrionment, you should be a self-starter

  • Track record of success in a start-up or fast-growth environment a major plus

  • Collaborative, team-player attitude
