As a channel partner manager, you will be responsible for managing indirect channels in one of our sales regions in Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa. Through a mix of strong management skills, relationship building, and business acumen, you will be accountable for meeting or exceeding established sales goals, market growth and implementing applicable policies and procedures. You will report to the International Distributor Organization (IDO) business manager.
Driving sales revenue target through building a strong indirect channel partner network
Develop and drive strategic plans and program, ensuring the efficient execution of those plans.
Directly monitor and lead the development of indirect sales strategies and business plan in line with organization strategy.
Consistently meets/exceeds sales performance goals of indirect sales business working with channel partners
Responsible for identifying, prospecting, recruiting and on-boarding new channel partners and the effective deployment of the indirect channel management plan.
Work with the channel partners and customers to understand customers’ needs or problems
Collaborate with technical peers to recommend solutions to meet customers’ needs or to solve their problems in order to ensure customer satisfaction and problem resolution.
Present regular reviews and operational plans to all levels of partner management
Ability to manage sales funnel, accurately forecast business, provide sales territory information, market trends and other business data.
Engage in collaborations with customers, direct sales manager and other business partners
Ensure business operations are in compliance with Agilent’s uncompromising legal and ethical standards.
Serve as the partner’s single point of contact
A Bachelor's or Master's level degree in chemistry or related discipline, with a minimum of 5 years multi-disciplined sales experience, OR demonstrated career progression within industry including management development. Experience of handling indirect channel sales is highly desirable.
A working knowledge of chromatography, mass spectrometry, spectroscopy and scientific consumables products will be an added advantage.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Strong initiative, judgement and decision-making ability
Excellent oral and written communication skills, with fluency in English
Microsoft office proficiency (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural, remote team and able to handle difficult and demanding situations and multiple priorities.
Ability to travel 50% of the time.
