EUCOM Theater Network Architect and Analyst ( Cyber Terrain Analysis Architect)
Provide Cyber Terrain Analysis Support services to USEUCOM in order to improve the C2 of network operations. This task will define, plan, coordinate, and synchronize cyber terrain of the Theater Ballistic Missile Defense System (TBMD) world-wide mission. While this task order provides for the operations management of network traffic it will also support cyber event measurements, assessment tool development, visualization, and future predictive analytics.
Develop a plan to normalize network trunk/circuits information that supports TBMD/Operation Plan (OPLAN)
Identify a methodology to determine key cyber terrain
Identify a methodology to determine critical mission dependencies
Develop sustainment Concept of Operations (CONOPS) for cyber terrain configuration management CM
Identify metadata to support analytics
Additionally, this candidate will support the development of EUCOM Theater Network Architecture and Analysis. These support priority missions and weapon systems to include BMD, Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3), Command and Control (C2), Air Intel Surveillance and Reconnaissance (AISR) and Logistics (LOG). The goals are to document the 5 critical USEUCOM mission areas, develop DODAF Operational Views (OV), Leverage existing DODAF architecture products and assemble Technical Views (TV) and System Views (SV) as they relate to the 5 USEUCOM mission areas.
Provide analytical and technical advice and document artifacts and processes.
Provide subject matter expertise as required at local USEUCOM meetings that address mission level architecture topics.
Assess component architecture(s) as needed to support USEUCOM priority missions.
Develop models of Key Terrain Cyber for each of these mission areas.
Document how the USEUCOM missions are executed (phasing, key decisions, stakeholders, key information flows, etc.).
Develop models and operational views on stages of mission execution (phases of the operation, what are the critical aspects of the mission, data flows, decisions, stakeholder, etc.).
Develop an information paper on a sensor strategy and high fidelity automated information sources to improve Command Cyber Situational Awareness.
Identify critical USEUCOM and supporting operational business processes which play a critical role in Cyber Situational Awareness.
Joint Staff, Combatant Command, Missile Defense Agency (MDA), or Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) staff experience
Experience working with support priority missions and weapon systems to include BMD, Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3), Command and Control (C2), Air Intel Surveillance and Reconnaissance (AISR) and Logistics (LOG).
IT Certifications: CompTIA, Cisco, Juniper, Microsoft, ISC2, GIAC, EC-Council, INCOSE
- CompTIA Security+ce or CCNA Security (DoD 8570 IAT Level II or higher certification)
Security Clearance (REQUIRED): TOP SECRET with SCI Eligibility (TS/SCI)
Work schedule: Day Shift; some travel may be required
Work location: Stuttgart, Germany
Availability: Available to fill immediately for qualified candidates. This is a 7-yr contract through Oct2019.
