The SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud (HEC) is building the bridge for SAP on premise customers towards SAP cloud.

The SAP Managed Cloud Delivery (MCD) is the operations organization of the SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud, which offers and provides real-time cloud platform, infrastructure and managed services focusing on fast time-to-value at reduced cost and risk.

Our Process & Knowledge Management Team is part of the Cross Delivery Unit, which is a sub-unit of the MCD that handles MCD cross topics in a highly dynamic working environment. In our team you will be part of an expert group mainly located in Germany. The team is driving, supporting and consulting technical projects with your deep expertise and put your ideas into action with maximum impact.

The Process & Knowledge Management Team has the following responsibilities:

  • Assure IT-Service Management process quality

  • Tool Enrichment (e.g. SAP Solution Manager/SimpleRunSolMan, Landscape Virtualization Manager, Cloud Access Manager)

  • Requirements Engineering (Roll-in / Roll-out)

  • Roll-in / Roll-out of Process Changes

  • Last mile adoption

  • Performance testing & Validation (Blueprint)

  • Operations Level Agreements with partners and vendors


  • You are driving and supporting different (internal) projects as technical project manager.

  • Coordination of multiple stakeholders

  • Establish excellent stakeholder relationships

  • Manage projects from blueprint to delivery of next release

  • Performing feasibility studies and process design reviews

  • Detailed planning of process implementation

  • Define detailed blueprint for development requirements

  • Develop and assure quality of process models


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering or Computer Science required from an accredited university, MBA or advanced degree in related discipline preferred

  • Very high proficiency in project management, stakeholder communications and presentations is required

Required skills

  • Project Management Certified with PMI, Prince2 or Six Sigma Methodology

  • Advanced knowledge in ITIL / ITSM processes

  • Strong ability to design organizational structures and design of process related structures

  • Strong ability to develop change request documents for IT

  • Demonstrating profound knowledge of defining standards and specifying enabling tools

  • Affinity in documentation


  • Several years of working experience in (technical) project management.

  • Several years of working experience with IT Service Provider or in the area of SAP basis

  • Professional experience with large, multi-national software/IT organizations

  • Fluent in German and English is a MUST, any other language is an asset
