PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
SAP's Business Insights & Technology (BI&T) is a critical enabler of our business success by providing advanced and efficient IT solutions, technology and operational support to our internal clients. Supporting more than 74,000 users and thousands of SAP systems, it is responsible for SAP's worldwide IT infrastructure and internal business applications.
Enterprise Analytics is a unit within BI&T. We revolutionize the creation and consumption of inspiring analytical insights based on our break-through innovations, thereby laying the foundation for steering excellence at SAP. We build and operate internal analytical assets, from reports and dashboards to data warehouses.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

Like many other units at SAP, we at Enterprise Analytics use an internal JIRA instance to manage our portfolio of projects and the daily work of our teams. In particular, we use an internal JIRA add-on that was written several years ago by SAP’s development organization.
As a working student (f/m) or intern (f/m), you will help with the continued development of this add-on. In this role, your tasks will include:
Develop automated tests for the add-on.
Help with analyzing and fixing problems in the add-on.
Help with end-to-end validation and load tests of the add-on.
Directly communicate and collaborate with the add-on’s Product Owner, UI designer and the existing development team in India.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Student at university or university of applied sciences
Preferred field(s) of study: informatics
Beneficial computer skills: Basic knowledge of JIRA and JIRA add-on development.
Language skills: Fluent English, spoken and written (mandatory); fluent German, spoken and written (beneficial).
Soft skills: Motivated, proactive, well organized, good communication skills, eager to learn.
