You have a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, process engineering or a comparable field.
Alternatively, you have advanced your technical training and education through a continuing education program to become a certified master craftsperson in chemistry.
You have several years of professional experience in production. You are a proficient user of the corresponding SAP modules.
You adapt your communication style to your audience and the relevant situation, ensure shared understanding and present your own position clearly.
You identify areas where change is needed early on and are open to new ideas.
TaskDescriptionOur Ultradur Polymer and Compounding unit produces the Ultradur brands, materials for high-end and highly durable technical parts in industrial sectors such as the automotive and electronics industries.
You will ensure that the overall conditions for smooth operational processes are met with regard to safety, health and environmental protection.
In addition, you will ensure that ongoing training is provided to employees of the unit regarding all QSHE topics and will organize safety tours, incident investigations and root cause analyses and monitor implementation of the measures that have been decided upon.
You will coordinate recurring tests and inspections of safety-related working materials and equipment and will prepare and/or update SOPs, risk assessments, fire safety and prevention concepts and analyses of working areas.
Within the SHE community, you will work actively with other production sites and support the sharing of experiences.
You will be responsible for monitoring and supporting the continuous improvement process (OPTIMUM) and for the ongoing implementation thereof, will advise employees on the use of appropriate methods and will initiate projects to improve operational flows.
