Job Title Internship - Software Development Engine Test Bench Automation/Matlab

For the division Powertrain Engine Systems we are searching for an intern (m/f) who is supposed to start in March 2017 at least for6 months to support the development of the automation software of engine test benches. After the internship you have the opportunity to write a bachelor thesis.
Your tasks will be:
Further development of DoE-software and -methods (DoE - Design of Experiments) for usage on engine test benches
Further development of innovative real-time capable engine controllers
Further development of engine models based on simulation methods existing in the company
Connection of the models and software/methods/engine controllers to the automation software
Validation of the simulation with existing real-time capable engine controllers
Documentation of realized tasks
Student (m/f) in the field of automation techniques, mechanical engineering, informatics, physics or similar
Knowledge in engine and test bench techniques desirable
Good knowledge in C, C++, C# and Embedded Software
Good knowledge in Matlab and Matlab Simulink
Confident in using the usual MS Office-programs
High level of German, as well as a good knowledge of English (written and spoken)
High operational readiness, flexibility, creativity, team-, organizational- and communicational skills
