Job Description In this position you are responsible for the successful launch of new products within Ford. Manage Programs from GDPIM 3 to 8 by leading a cross-functional team with upfront involvement in acquisition phases GDPIM 1 & 2 related to PM input.

Your tasks:

  • Manage cross functional / multicultural project teams to ensure proper and timely execution according agreed project timing

  • Manage the Programs in line with the ZF TRW GDPIM process and make sure that actual project status is reported and updated on a regular basis within Clarity PM System

  • Manage product development process by effectively delegating, communicating, focusing on milestones, reporting and handling of all issues and risks

  • Control and monitor expense and cost of projects and support cost estimation and calculation process

  • Report project status to ZF TRW senior management during monthly status reviews

  • Clearly communicate critical issues to the management team to allow corrective actions to be taken

  • Monitor program progress by regular reviews based on the ZF TRW GDPIM process

  • Point of contact for all issues and functions at customer. Analyze customer requirements and their expectations and communicate them within the organization to the proper contacts

  • Manage customer escalation and task force activities during launch phase

  • Manage customer and/or supplier driven changes according to set targets

  • International travel between ZF TRW and customer sites necessary

Education Requirements

• Engineering / Technical degree or equivalent, additional Degree in Economics would be a plus

Experience and Skill Requirements

• Relevant experience of at least 5 years in Project Management and / or Engineering within the automotive sector

• Practical experience in automotive electro mechanicals would be a plus

• Achievement orientation and initiative, concern for order, quality and accuracy

• Ability to prioritize projects and work effectively, strong interpersonal communication skills

• Analytical thinking and problem solving using conceptual thinking

• Team player with self-control, self-confidence and flexibility

• Strong presentation, organizational and influencing skills, leadership skills

• Fluent in English and German language, good knowledge of MS Office
