Key Skills

  • Deep sector knowledge. You should have been immersed in Financial Services (Insurance, Retail Banking, Commercial or Investment Banking) for a number of years. We are seeking individuals who truly understand the sector, you might have worked at a number of marquee accounts in the sector or in consulting. Knowledge not buzzwords.

  • Technology for the sake of business gain. You must have had experience in organisational change through the use of leading edge technology. Pragmatic but inspirational.

  • Networking and communication. Change is built on relationships, you will currently hold VP-level and above level relationship and have the ability to build these as a trusted adviser within organisations.

  • Innovation and story-telling. The ability to think laterally and take the best from other related (and not so related) industries. Digital isn’t silo’ed, nor should your thinking be.

The primary objective of the EMEA Digital Experiences leads will be to engage with marquee accounts in order to help our customer to create new digital front office experiences based on the Oracles digital cloud portfolio.

The goal will be creation of pipeline opportunities, the support of the subsequent sales cycles and driving the adoption and expansion of the Oracle footprint in conjunction with other field sales teams. Your domain and industry expertise will be key to create and enrich the quality of the interaction with key decision makers, the definition of the solution and the articulation of the business value. Projects will be transformational in nature requiring good consultative skills, domain expertise, business acumen and creativity. You are also expected to lead and inspire internal communities, keynote at marketing events, and evangelize the market through digital thought leadership.

This position requires you to:

  • Be passionate and proficient in digital front office technologies and able to contagiously transmit your enthusiasm to those you interact with.

  • Understand the value chain in which your customers operate so to spot breakthrough opportunities, identify and articulate their value and assist in delivering these to contract signature.

  • Be able to architect functionally a solution for our customer based on the Oracle CX/PaaS portfolio and external ISVs (e.g. Oracle Cloud Marketplace).

  • Be innovative, fast and pragmatic, bringing the ethos to a matrix organization in conjunction with technical field experts, management consultants, marketing directors, sales development leads and product development.

  • Be a leader by example a team player by nature, often being the first to make a step forward.

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Overlay sales personnel providing specialist product expertise to the sales force.

Partners with Account, Technology, and Application sales representatives to qualify and close new business on Oracle solutions. Provides specific industry or product expertise to facilitate the closing of deals within sales representatives territory. Interacts with sales team to architect the solution, and develop and execute solution strategies for market. Manages solution opportunities to obtain appropriate and necessary resources for all qualified opportunities. Leads teams in the sales process for establishing market visibility and deal visibility. Presents/demonstrates solution to high level clients and industry conference attendees. May provide training to field sales on industry/solutions. Builds and maintains a network and up to date specific industry or product knowledge.

Acknowledged authority within the Corporation. Provides leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. 12 years applicable experience preferred. Subject matter expertise in industry/product space. Knowledge of key industry leaders and management. Knowledge of Oracle competition. Presentation and product demonstration experience. Previous consultative selling experience preferred. Excellent communication, negotiating, and closing skills with prospects and customers. Travel may be needed. BA/BS degree in related field.
