AbbVie Bulk Manager (f/m) in Palatinate, Germany

Your Responsibilities: * Managing bulk department * Responsible person (Leiter der Herstellung) for bulk operations according ยง12 AMWHV * Assure compliance with local and AbbVie rules, policies, laws and regulations * Assurance of product quality and timely market supply * Compilation, control and validation of pharmaceutical / GMP documentation * Management of deviations, CAPA, change control, qualifications and business processes * Manufacturing batch release * Manage key financial, quality and EHS performance indicators * Manage effectively all personnel issues, develop people * Encourage open communication between the different departments of LU operations * Drive continuous improvements for performance, quality, EHS * Supervision, training and mentoring of trainees * Subject matter expert and representative of Production Unit in audits and inspections

Your qualifications: * Graduate degree in pharmacy, scientific or similar * 3-5 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or another GMP regulated environment * Leadership experience is desirable * Proven expertise in pharmaceutical manufacturing environment * Experience working effectively across divisions and in complex matrixes environment * Solution-driven style * Excellent communication capabilities and teamwork capacities * Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently * Understands business needs and impact of regulatory issues on these * Ability to pragmatically make decisions * Sound knowledge and full appreciation of GMP and integrated quality culture * Demonstrated knowledge of project planning/management processes and methods, and proven project management skill * Excellent knowledge of the English and the German language (spoken and written)
