We are looking for an experienced, highly motivated, results-oriented Senior Marketing Manager (m/f) for the Amazon Digital Music Customer Acquisition Team in Germany. This role will focus on developing exciting and innovative customer-facing marketing programs and growth initiatives across a wide range of Amazon-owned and external traffic channels to grow the Amazon Music customer base. A successful candidate should be analytical, highly detail-oriented, and will possess the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and multi-task in a rapidly changing environment.
Primary responsibilities include:
Owning highly visible customer acquisition programs and campaigns including responsibility for messaging, executing, analyzing and optimizing performance across channels and campaigns
Identifying new acquisition opportunities and strategies based on customer and business data
Developing marketing plans for various channels (Amazon devices, Amazon web and mobile stores and apps, display ads, search, associates, email and others) and identifying and develop messaging, targeting, segmentation, and testing strategies to drive Amazon Music acquisition and growth
Understanding levers we have for improving customer acquisition and conversion, analyzing performance and success of those levers and implementing initiatives for testing, optimization and improvement across devices and channels
Collaborating closely with several teams, including Amazon Traffic teams, Site Merchandising, Creative, Business Intelligence, Music Product, Marketing and Amazon Prime teams in both the development and execution of our acquisition plans and initiatives
Owning the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing marketing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to drive key marketing decisions
Experimenting creatively with new ways to drive customer acquisition, such as through external partnerships, offline media, and other non-traditional media
Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business Administration
Several years of relevant work experience in marketing (online), product management, and/or consumer products and services.
Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and German
Demonstrated experience using data and KPI metrics to monitor and measure performance and determine ongoing improvements
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to quickly learn Amazon tools and processes
Ability to deliver on multiple deadlines and prioritize compulsively as a self-directed individual, comfortable with a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
Familiarity with web metrics and online music subscription business model
Experience managing multiple online marketing programs across diverse channels, both online and offline
Digtal Music industry experience and understanding of trends, seasonality, and competitive landscape
Experience writing SQL and using databases to extract and analyze customer data
