Job OverviewThe main focus is to increase Qualcomms presence and share of market at automotive OEMs, tier 1 and tier 2 accounts in Europe by implementing/executing a structured and targeted sales and account management strategy approach to the region and bringing a high level of focus to the region.

This is a strategic sales function to define and implement an automotive account and sales strategy for the European region.

Key Responsibilities:

Define and implement a strategic sales approach to the region, with particular focus on major automotive global OEMs, tier 1 and tier 2 accounts. In addition, communicate the specific needs of the key accounts in the region to the relevant business units and drive the sales strategy for maximum growth

Develop and articulate account plans. Negotiate and close commercial and license agreements. Increase design wins and revenue in region, meeting or exceeding annual regional targets.

Work in partnership with the automotive business unit managers to develop and continue refine the regional sales strategy for assigned Tier 1 and Tier 2 accounts and report back to senior management on progress, customer requirements, specific needs in order to win RFQ, and secure design win.

Work autonomously to deliver from agreed-upon objectives and lead internal cross-functional team to drive and deliver on strategy and system solutions.

Build and expand relationships with key decision makers and influencers within the customer organisation and ensure that they understand QUALCOMMs strategy, product portfolio, roadmaps and company direction.

Bring focus to the segment and region by influencing key teams and senior management within Qualcomm, who provide resources and are able to adapt internal technology direction etc, thereby achieving Qualcomm quarterly and annual revenue and design win targets.

Deliver accurate forecasts and communicate to the company and business units to ensure that we can plan accurately and achieve P&L goals quarterly and annually.

Lead internal cross-disciplinary team to solve unique and complex customer problems and drive the account strategy.

Accurately interpret and document customer interactions, project requirements / desires, and forecasts. Intelligently summarize the customers status, needs, and direction to the relevant internal Qualcomm teams.

Responsible for and driving the process of negotiation of various agreements with customers including pricing, supply, partnership, development, and settlement agreements.

Minimum Qualifications-At least 10yrs sales/business development/account management experience

-EU Automotive Tier1 and/or Tier2 customer base

-Strong track record in sales, design win execution, revenue target achievement, team player

-Must speak German

-Preferably already located in Germany

-Strong business, technical and communication skills.

-Proficient experience and track record negotiating and closing commercial and/or license agreements with auto customers

Preferred Qualifications-Some experience in managing/leading sales team is a plus

Education RequirementsDegree in a relevant discipline required, MBA would be considered an advantage.
