The European AmazonBuyVIP Logistics team is looking for an experienced, innovative, hands-on, and highly customer-obsessed Project Manager Logistics (f/m) who will be responsible to drive pan EU projects in order to improve the Delivery Experience of our European Customers and to implement projects to reach improvements in our reverse Logistics. In this role, you will be part of the European logistics team from BuyVIP with interactions to external warehouse service provider; internal and external pan EU department stakeholders like our customer service or finance teams.
The role is based in Munich, our German cooperate office (preferred) or Mailand or Madrid.
You will contribute to build the future of Amazon BuyVIP in Europe by identifying and managing customer experience (CX) related projects such as the reduction of customer contacts or concessions due to operational defects in the supply chain (shipment packaging standards, warehouse inbound quality controls, AQL, etc.) or the increase of quality (delivery speed increase, Promise setting accuracy, etc.) as well as the improvement of our European Reverse Logistics processes (automate the vendor return and liquidation process, improve the warehouse return grading processes, increase the liquidation partnership portfolio). You will raise the bar and align operational standards pan EU wide and will build up long-term strategies such as customer EU return policies by considering competitor strategies. Key role facts are:
Member of the Amazon BuyVIP EU Logistics Team, focusing on managing the Customer Delivery Experience as well as the EU Reverse Logistics
Interface between cross-functional European departments with the Logistics Operations, Supply Chain, Transportation; Customer Service, Technology; Finance and other stakeholder departments.
Plan, control and monitor key performance indicators like the actual Fulfillment Quality; Customer Experience and reverse logistics metrics in the European network by considering local requirements
Identify process defects and drive projects to improve the Delivery Experience and Reverse Logistics in collaboration with the other technical and business departments.
Develop and maintain a strong communication processes and ensure a high quality bar across the different countries / processes / stakeholders
Establish new tools and project requirements and monitor the progress of the implementation
You continuously push our logistics network for better, faster and more cost effective processes. You will propose recommended solutions to complex challenges and deliver timely, relevant metrics to key stakeholders, including senior management. You will analyze various data points, metrics and processes to define a cost optimal, high performing logistics network and will setup long-term strategies for our company.
Master degree / diploma in Supply Chain, Science or Engineering is preferred
Third language skills in German, Italian, Spanish and/or French
Certifications & Mentorship in Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt) or in LEAN
Technical Expertise (IT, ERP systems, WMS, Database solutions) with solution-driven approach to systems & processes
Advanced in Excel and SQL
A strategic way of thinking and strong hands-on mentality
