Marketing Manager, Amazon Video (m/w) in Munich, Germany

Amazon Video is fast becoming one of the major global players in digital entertainment. We are changing the way millions of customers enjoy movies and TV shows. Amazon Original shows, offered as part of a Prime subscription, have now won Emmys, Golden Globes and a BAFTA.

We are recruiting for a Marketing Manager for a growing area of the business. The Marketing Manager is responsible for leading marketing campaigns to drive subscribers across the EU, specifically UK and Germany. In particular the role will focus on using core marketing channels such as Amazon’s websites and related properties (, imdb, etc.), paid search, and affiliates. These are our largest marketing channels for acquisition/upsell and also will drive awareness and brand enhancement for Amazon Video and our partners. The role is responsible for the planning, execution, forecasting and continual testing and improvement of this marketing activity. The role will work closely with the Prime and transactional video marketing teams to ensure coordinated campaign planning. As a result of the broad scope and critical nature of this marketing activity the role will interact at all levels of seniority in the company, presenting and influencing up to Director level.

Candidate essentials:

  • Resourceful problem-solver with ability to excel in an ambiguous environment

  • Ability to prioritise workload and deliver results against multiple deadlines in a fast-paced setting

  • Solid product/digital marketing experience, preferably some in content management

  • Excellent written skills with a strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Superior communication, presentation and influencing skills

  • Advanced Excel skills

  • A degree level graduate or equivalent.


Hands-on digital marketing leadership experience in a Pay TV business, a studio or channel group, or OTT content provider.
