Amazon is looking for a talented and passionate Catalogue Manager with strong project management skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a love for children’s content to join Amazon FreeTime Unlimited, one of the fastest growing teams within the Amazon Device business. Amazon FreeTime Unlimited is an all-in-one subscription for kids that offers unlimited access to thousands of kid-friendly books, movies, TV shows, educational apps, and games—all while blocking social media access and in-app purchasing so that parents don’t have unwelcome surprises. Amazon FreeTime also includes best-in-class parental controls, allowing parents to set daily time limits or restrict certain categories—like games and video—while leaving unlimited time for reading.

The FreeTime Unlimited Catalogue Manager will work closely with the business, technical, content, and product teams to manage the FreeTime Unlimited catalogue and help drive the content acquisition strategy. They will become an expert in children’s content, including a deep understanding of age appropriateness, educational value and more. This is a multi-faceted job in a fun, start-up like environment that requires flexibility, agility, creativity and a sense of humor.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Own the upload and ongoing management of content in the UK and German FreeTime Unlimited catalogues, working with internal and external partners

  • Work closely with business, product management and technical teams to define and launch new content-related features in FreeTime Unlimited.

  • Help define the content acquisition strategy, identifying key gaps in the UK and German catalogues

  • Own the content recommendations featured in marketing material, press releases and customer touchpoints

  • Create, curate and maintain customer-facing information about kids content.

  • Own, improve and create new content evaluation processes, ensuring accurate metadata is captured

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across various organisations in the company to complete projects.

    • Relevant experience managing multiple projects in a fast moving environment
  • BA/BSc required.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Exceptional attention to detail

  • Ability to conceptualise and execute projects, with strong bias for action and ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.

  • Communication and collaboration skills that enable you to earn trust up, down, and across the company.

  • Native German speaker. Fluency in English

  • Knowledge of children’s content and popular characters.

  • Strong familiarity with mobile and digital content

  • Technical fluency; comfort identifying key technical issues, understanding their business development implications, and discussing alternative technical solutions

  • 2+ years of content management experience
