ON Semiconductor EMEA PRODUCT MARKETING ENGINEER in Muenchen, Germany

  • Have/acquire in depth technical knowledge on the covered products and applications. Train technical sales team, distributors and customers. Create FAQs to facilitate future support

  • Identifies opportunities together with the technical and commercial sales team. Forecast revenue and prioritize opportunities

  • Bring opportunities to design-(w)in status by providing technical support to technical sales, and to the customer. Interact with Applications Engineering for technical back office support

  • Provide pricing and delivery conditions to customers

  • Develop and maintain close relationships with strategic and key customers

  • Make recommendations for evaluation and development tools of ASSP family

  • Contribute to promotion material, application notes, white papers, conferences

  • Propose derivative products from existing product portfolio driven by short term commercial opportunities

  • Represent ON Semiconductor in standardization offices that are relevant for the covered product portfolio

  • Performance criteria include actual revenue, opportunity funnel, design (w)in and related medium term projected revenue in EMEA

  • Frequent travel within Europe (around 25%)

  • Based in ON Semiconductor Offices in Munich, Germany. Reporting to WW Product Marketing Manager (based in USA)

  • Technical background in electronics and micro-electronics : BS or MS, which enables you to acquire in depth technical knowledge on the covered products and applications. Strong technical skills and experience to support questions and problems on analog, digital and software aspects

  • Fluent in English and German language

  • Can work independently from remote management and back office

  • Basic insight in business models and financial terminology

  • 5 - 8 years in marketing of electronics

  • Concise reporting and communication skills
