For our Renal Care Solutions (RCS) products within our business unit Minimally Invasive Therapies Group we are currently looking for a
Therapy Specialist Critical Care (m/f)
Job ID 16000LGX (MW).
This position is home office based, the incumbent (m/f) is ideally located in the near of an airport. You will be responsible for the region Germany and will travel approx. 2 to 3 days a week, on average.
As a Therapy Specialist (m/f) you will work as a cross-functional team member - providing clinical support to external and internal customers - including the sales team. Clinical support includes clinical applications, education regarding solutions to the relevant patient conditions including product technology, monitoring operation and appropriate use of disposable accessories for various clinical settings. You will be actively involved in pre and post-sales to identify and foster elements, processes and champions that result in successful product adoption. Your main contact people in the market are anesthesiologists, intensive care specialists, neonatologists, nephrologists as well as purchase and theater managers.
•Manage a extracorporeal system evaluation and ongoing customer support
•Conduct an initial set up for multi-therapeutic systems for critical care
•Provide ongoing on-site clinical support to staff evaluating the Bellco multi-therapeutic systems, assist customers in developing continuous quality improvement tools and programs
•Work closely with EMEA Renal Care Solution and Patient Monitoring Recovering Leaders, respond to questions and concerns about the multi-therapeutic systems for critical care and assist in the training and orientation of new EMEA Application Specialists Critical Care, Marketing and Regional Sales Consultant Support
•Identify and build long term relationship with Clinical Key Opinion leaders
•Support EMEA Leaders in designing sales plans by mapping business opportunities and setting priorities
•Contribute to the creation of marketing plans by providing clinical expertise and assist in the creation of new marketing tools for customers and staff
•Attend local, regional, national and international conferences and seminars to remain up-to-date with the latest products, services and research
•Assist with tender documentation, encompassing technical, clinical and financial aspects to prepare competitive tenders
•Master’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electronic, Biomedical or Clinical Engineering or equivalent
•Several years of successful experience in sales and/or supporting of capital investment goods within the medical devices industry with great knowledge of the hospital intensive care market
•Fluency in German and in English, both verbal and written
•Excellent IT skills, including all Microsoft packages and proficiency in using modern multi-media tools, sales systems and daily usage of CRM systems.
•Knowhow within critical care respectively extracorporeal therapies
•Being used to work for a matrix organization
•High level of customer service mentality
•Strong interpersonal and communication as well as advanced presentation skills with natural ability to persuade others
•Sense of spotting business opportunities, with an entrepreneurial spirit
•Proven ability to learn quickly and develop new skills in a fast changing environment, being dynamic and willing to invest in career
•Used to work independently with a high level of time management and organizational skills
