TaskDescriptionDuring this 3-6 month internship, starting in 2017, you will support the work of our Effect Materials department in Tarrytown, USA in order to generate high performance decorative effects for automotive, cosmetic and industrial application.

  • You will perform different synthetic approaches for decorative and functional effects including inorganic synthesis of oxide based materials, processing and classification of substrate materials and metal oxide layer deposition.

  • You will apply color measurement methods as well as laboratory techniques for characterization of effect materials.

  • You will interact with technical applications experts to develop an understanding of technical market requirements.

  • Furthermore, you will build a network with business units, the production plant and competence centers.
