  • You have completed a formal vocational training program in a technical or engineering-related field or have a degree in one of these areas.

  • You have already been able to amass extensive experience in the areas of plant and equipment safety, fire prevention and fire safety and environmental protection, and you ideally have knowledge in the area of dust explosion protection.

  • You are a proficient communicator in German and English and are distinguished by both good assertiveness and safety consciousness.

  • Your working style is organized, and you are always able to contribute your analytical thinking in order to take actions on an entrepreneurial basis and drive innovations forward.

  • You also have excellent MS Office skills and enjoy working as part of a team.

TaskDescriptionOur Environment, Health, Safety, Quality unit is responsible for implementing our standards in the areas environment, health, safety and quality at the Leuna and Rudolstadt sites.

  • You will provide support and advice on all matters relating to plant and equipment safety, fire prevention, fire safety and environmental protection.

  • In cooperation with our functional units, you will drive the continuous development and evolution of the integrated management system forward, particularly with regard to ISO 14001, and will ensure that legal requirements are met.

  • You will organize and monitor the disposal of waste and discharge of wastewater and are responsible for collecting and preparing data for the management review in your fields of activity.

  • You will ensure compliance with external and internal requirements and will comply with legal regulations, permits and authorizations to this end. You will also participate in internal and external audits and in BASF Responsible Care Audits.

  • In addition, you will support and monitor the units in implementing continuous improvement measures, will conduct training sessions and will organize and support safety and environmental activities at our sites.
