The Role

As an Intern in Quality Department you will be responsible for delivering capital project within a manufacturing facility. You will be working in the team of new Integrated Quality System project. Utilizing new software and tools you will be looking into measuring, mapping and delivering of new lines/projects within a factory. You will ensure that projects are delivered on time and to budget, with constant communication at a site level to maintain alignment. To ensure your success, you will need to develop strong relationships with your stakeholder groups from project to project ensuring minimal disruption to manufacturing.

Working within our busy manufacturing chocolate plant, you will be applying your knowledge while continuing to learn on the job, working with some of our best engineers to support execution of investment agenda.

It’s a Monday-Friday role with a total of 37.5 hours a week.

Main Duties:

  • Ensure efficient technical projects execution according to the scope, budget and schedule considering legal regulations, norms, procedures and internal standards

  • Support IQS Team with continuous improvement agenda

  • Evaluation of the technical specifications and project documentation, recording data and producing analysis

  • Managing and proving training to contractors according to the procedures and regulations

  • Support the necessary tests and trials in order to set up the optimum parameters of the lines / equipment

  • Preparing all the necessary documentation related to technical projects in compliance with the investment procedure

Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Master’s degree specialising in Engineering, Technology, Management, Science or similar field

  • Fluent in English and German Language

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Very good collaboration and interpersonal skills

  • Lean Manufacturing / 5s knowledge preferred

  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel)

Starting date: January 2017

Duration: 6 months

Salary €1400 gross/month
