Internship / Master Thesis on the topic of “Site-Specific Farming”
In this position you will work on a project on site-specific farming. This may include conducting a survey to gather customer needs, identifying technical requirements and crucial factors for site-specific farming. Competitive benchmarking to the John Deere cloud solution completes the project. Supported by the local team, you will create a solution concept and feasibility study.
These efforts will primarily target the European market.
The position is targeted for a 6-month period and available at the beginning of 2017. The working location will be Kaiserslautern (Germany) in the Advanced Marketing department.
Your profile should include:
Student (m/f) in Agribusiness, Agricultural Engineering or similar fields of study
Knowledge in Precision Farming
Good knowledge of agronomy in arable crop production
Interest in sensor technology and machine automation
Experience with farm software and multiple data formats
Well versed in MS Office
Fluent English and French language skills are required
