The Challenge Ahead:

The Data Collection & Licensing group (FIFA) is looking for a passionate Web Developer on a 12 month contract to design, develop and install software solutions. The successful candidate will be able to build high-quality, innovative and fully performing software in compliance with coding standards and technical design.

What a Web Developer does at EA:

  • Execute full lifecycle software development

  • Write well designed, testable and efficient code

  • Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility

  • Integrate software components into a fully functional software system

  • Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures

  • Document and maintain software functionality

  • Tailor and deploy software tools, processes and metrics

  • Serve as a subject matter expert

  • Comply with project plans and industry standards

  • Fix blocker and high priority bugs showing up in applications

    The next great EA Web Developer also needs:

  • Proven working experience in software engineering

  • Degree in Computer Science or Engineering

  • Hands-on experience in designing interactive applications

  • Ability to develop software in C# and ASP.net

  • Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases and SQL technologies

  • Experience in developing web applications using PHP with Javascript and Jquery

  • Web design abilities using CSS, SASS, Angular JS 2

  • Experience with test-driven development

  • Ability to document requirements and specifications

  • Familiarity with software development methodology and release processes
