Harman international (Senior) Program Manager VW Group (m/f) in Ittersbach, Germany

Your task:

  • Overall program responsibility for realization of Infotainment Programs

  • Steering of a Team with related sub-teams and external suppliers with team sizes up to 100 project team members

  • Responsible to deliver the product according to agreed targets (Schedule, Product costs, Budget costs, Quality)

  • Top level planning and controlling

  • Align technical and commercial program targets with functional departments

  • Responsible for Change Management process (incl. internal/external Change Control Boards)

  • Technical interface towards OEM-customer for all aspects of technical status, program progress and product alignment

  • Responsible for transition from prototyping to production incl. ramp-up

  • Active steering during RFI/RFQ-phase to compile feasibility studies and to complete product performance specification

  • Maintenance support after SOP+90 days

  • Reporting towards customer and internally incl. management board (CEO-level)

  • Program execution according to HARMAN Project Life Cycle Management Processes (PLM / PMI PM Book)

Requirements:

  • University degree in engineering (Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering or appropriate graduation)

  • Minimum 5-7 years experience in project or line management (team size >40 members)

  • Ability to manage very large teams at multi locations and multi countries

  • Fundamental knowledge in terms of methodologies in project management

  • Fluent technical and commercial English skills, good knowledge of german language desired

  • Ability to motivate and to communicate

  • Ability to mediate between conflict parties
