Procter & Gamble MEDIA & MARKETING MANAGER in Germany (m/f) in Hesse, Germany

The DACH (Germany / Austria / Switzerland) Media Operations team within Procter & Gamble’s Marketing Organization is responsible for the consumer activation via media (TV, Print, AV/Digital) across P&G’s rich brand portfolio including lighthouse brands like Ariel, Lenor, Blend-a-Med, Oral B, Gillette, Braun, Pantene, H&S, Pampers, Always, Febreze (30 brands) in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Given the investments size of approx. 750 Mio Euro annually, the team is relentlessly optimizing media strategies, media plans and media executions for each P&G brand within the portfolio to maximize the business impact of the investments.

The Media Operations manager works directly or via media agencies with specific brand/ category combinations and gives strategic counseling on Media including the rich field of digital. He/she sets direction for crafting successful media strategies, builds cross brand knowledge of proven communication and drives qualification of communication alternatives or emerging channels in the fast media landscape and works closely in multifunctional teams (e.g. marketing, consumer research, analytics).

He/she has responsibility on excellent execution of plans and creating scaled value whilst keeping focused on strategic objectives across the P&G portfolio and via growing and maintaining relationships with both the Media Agencies’ teams and Media Owners. The Media Operations managers safeguards financial compliance for media investments. He/she is constantly hunting opportunities to improve further, build future capability and to train key stakeholders.

He/She is driving development of top notch knowledge via research and capability building projects so that the Company maintains and grows its competitive edge in the marketplace. The Media Operations Manager shares and applies capabilities within the regional and global Marketing organization in DACH.

We are looking for: * Fluent in German and English

  • Good honours degree in any academic discipline (e.g. Marketing, Finance)

  • Strong strategic thinking & passion for innovation

  • Analytical mind and ability to master complicated and highly specialized skills quickly

  • Ideally strong Marketing / Media Expert skills & passion for digital

  • Relevant experience through Internship(s) or first job an advantage
