Job Description

In the Conti Machinery (CM) complex tire building and special machines are developed, manufactured and brought into service worldwide.

Your main responsibilities as Software Architect (m/f) will be:

  • Development and design of software for the solution of user interfaces for machine control systems

  • Creation of software design specifications

  • Software implementation and test on the .NET environment with C#

  • Creation of technical specifications and designs

  • Verification and documentation of the development results

  • Development of applications, services for networked systems and services in industrial production environments

  • Design of the solution landscape, which enables new industry 4.0 applications and -services quickly and user-oriented

Job Requirements

  • Completed degree (Dipl. Ing. or Master or Bachelor from technical college or university) in automation technology, information technology or natural science

  • Initial professional experience in the specific or a similar area

  • Good knowledge of object-orientated programming

  • Very good knowledge of relational databases

  • Good knowledge of object oriented analysis & design

  • Knowledge of Visual Basic 6.0

  • Basic knowledge of XML, HTML and windows scripting

  • Very good German and English skills (written and spoken)

  • Target-, process- and quality-oriented mindset

  • Marked ability to work as part of a team combined with a high degree of self-reliance in dealing with customers on site and good networking and communication skills

  • Willingness to travel worldwide (driving license)
