Role

Global Product Manager for Airside Software products which include Control & Monitoring System for Airfield Lighting, ASMGCS, Integrated Controller Working Position (ICWP), SWIM/Integration Platform for A-CDM/Airside Performance Dashboards and Advanced Integrated Recorder (AIR).

Key Responsibilities

As a Global Product Manager you will be Airside Software products evangelist and will be responsible for Product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle as per Honeywell NPI process. Other responsibilities include: • Own development of road maps for developing products by identifying potential gaps in the market Vs what we have in our products; conducting market research; generating product requirements; determining specifications, production timetables, pricing, and time-integrated plans for product certifications, introduction and sales training's; developing marketing strategies. • Develop and manage the budget allocated for NPI. • Introduces and markets new products by developing time-integrated plans with sales, marketing and development departments specially mapping legal requirements across ICAO, FAA and other markets • Determines product pricing by utilizing market research data; reviewing production and sales costs; anticipating volume; costing special and customized orders. • Travel frequently and establish/maintain a consistent level of communication with new and existing customers, internal sales teams by conducting product training and prepare sales kit material. • Provides information for management by preparing short-term and long-term product sales forecasts and special reports and analyses; answering questions and requests. Prepare reports on the products by segment, markets, region, sector, size, etc. • Collaborate with Marketing to ensure all aspects of 4P marketing analyze market and competitor’s activities and products and prepare proactive action plan. • Coordinate with the sales team to monitor sales of products for each market, and work together to provide recommendations as how to improve the sellout and obtain product market share by working with sales director to develop product sales strategies. • Coordinate with internal sales teams and factory teams for new product development. • Keep track of Customer compliance for thru Technical Assistance Centre. • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies like FAA, EuroControl, EuroCAE, CANSO, SESAR, NEXGEN etc.

Measured Goals & Results

Few of the parameters that the Global Product Manager will be measured are: • Profitability & Customer Satisfaction – Product revenue, profit, customer satisfaction scores with effective collaboration with Sales team • Product differentiation thru Innovation & Intellectual Property creation. • Manage and deliver on VPD Scorecard like Cycle Time, Budget etc., with effective collaboration with R&D team • Product Launch Management with effective collaboration with Marketing & Sales teams • Strong customer engagement with Workshops, Road shows & Demo sessions.

Product Management, Understanding the Customer, Requirements Analysis, Competitive Analysis, Sales Planning, Presentation skills, Technical understanding, Business enablement etc. Requirements • Strong Marketing & Technical education background • Technical Degree with MBA or suitable Product Management experience is must • Strong presentation skills. • Knowledge of the Airports airside market and products • Ability to manage / influence the team • Minimum 8 years working in the Airport Airside domain and understanding of Airfield operations
