Harman international Marketing Manager OEM Automotive (m/f) in Garching, Germany

Tasks/Responsiblities:

  • Create, expand and maintain relationship with different departments within OEMs, including Product Planning, Product Marketing, Sales, Training, Corporate/Fleet sales, etc.

  • Develop and execute trade marketing plans in order to successfully promote Harman In-Vehicle Technology products & services within the OEM dealer network through Education, Communication, Motivation and Packaging programs or initiatives, and to drive revenue

  • Develop digital marketing plan to drive consideration of Harman In-Vehicle Technology (IVT) systems with OEMs

  • Develop capabilities to gather and analyze, take rate information, for each OEM customer and apply data analysis to assess and refine marketing programs

  • Align regularly with sales leaders of Harman Customer Business Units in terms of actions and results

  • Duplicate actions done in other countries or regions by other team members where it makes sense

Required Skills:

  • University degree in Business Administration and/ or Marketing, otherwise University degree in engineering with deep experience in sales with automotive industrie

  • Strong abilities in network-building

  • Sales- and goals-oriented profile

  • Five or more years of professional experience in marketing. Knowledge of the fleet market would be a plus

  • Understanding of automotive OEM industry and their sales organization is a big plus

  • Strong oral and written communication skills including development and delivery of formal presentations

  • Ability to distill and communicate findings into concise language and draw fact-based conclusions and recommendations

  • Proficiency with Excel, Word and PowerPoint

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multitasking environment, managing and prioritizing multiple objectives

  • Fluent in German and English, additional languages are a plus
