Job Description / Information
For your initial entry into the workplace Stryker provides an excellent foundation for your new career in the manufacturing department. Our ultimate goal is to develop future leaders with a set of excellent social and technical skills.
During your 24 months as a Trainee you will follow a structured training program in 3 different locations in Continental Europe that will ensure that you have all the technical knowledge and tools you need to fulfil your role and to develop personally.
At each location you will work for 8 months on manufacturing related projects and tasks with a close mentoring and guidance from experienced leaders and technical experts.
Besides manufacturing you will also get insights into topics and tools in Quality Engineering, Production Management & Industrialization, Lean and Supply Chain Management.
Additionally you will have different learning opportunities e.g. on business acumen, presentation & communication skills and project management. Therefore you will participate in internal & external trainings and specialized programs for future leaders.
We are looking for talented graduates ideally with a Master’s degree who are looking for challenging opportunities in medical technology that demand innovative solutions and personal leadership.
You should have first professional work experiences as an (manufacturing) engineer up to a maximum of 24 months.
Ideally you have several months of experience abroad where you have strengthen both your cultural and communication skills.
Excellent English language skills and very good knowledge of German are absolutely necessary for this program. Advantageous would be also a good knowledge of French.
