Oracle is a leader in the Cloud CX Space (Customer Experience) and we are expanding the pre-sales team with someone responsible for our Oracle Marketing Cloud solutions.

The CX presales team is focusing on all Oracle CX solutions in the German market. You will work in this team of experts and will primarily focus on marketing solutions. The team works closely together with CX sales reps and partners in the region.

As a Sales Consultant you will be responsible for providing presales technical / functional support to prospective clients and customers. You will act as a technical resource for less experienced Sales Consultants. In this role you develop and deliver high quality standard Oracle presentations and demonstrations, to include advanced product concepts, future direction, and 3rd party complimentary products. Furthermore, you will develop and manage reference sites through technical and professional client relationships.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Providing presales support to Oracle’s application sales team and partners, with a focus on Oracle Marketing Cloud solutions;

  • Helping the customer to identify the best Oracle CX solution for their business requirements;

  • Providing presentations and demonstrations of the various Oracle CX application solution sets;

  • Assist the sales team in the qualification of sales opportunities;

  • Becoming the internal source for product information for the Oracle sales team;

  • Represent Oracle as a credible expert in the area of CX Applications software

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A successful professional, with experience in enterprise application software. Preferably Marketing solutions, CX or CRM;

  • You might have gained your first working experience either within a marketing department, a marketing agency or from working as pre-sales or as a consultant. Most importantly, you bring marketing business know-how;

  • Fluent in German and English;

  • Good presenter and great communicator;

  • A person with good understanding of the underlying software technologies;

  • An analytical thinker with a proven ability to translate complex business needs into feasible, valuable solutions;

  • A team player, good at building effective relationships and with a strong customer service focus;

  • Have a bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell.

As a Senior Sales Consultant you will be responsible for providing presales technical / functional support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction with minimal supervision. Acts as a technical resource for less experienced Sales Consultants. Develop and deliver high quality standard Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Present and articulate advanced product features and benefits, product future direction and overall Oracle solutions. Design, validate, and present Oracle software solutions to include advanced product concepts, future direction, and 3rd party complimentary products. Develop and manage reference sites through high quality technical, professional client relationships.

Job duties are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. May have project lead role. 5 years vendor (sales and marketing) experience. 5 years relevant computer applications or database/tools. Demonstrated proficiency in one multi-user operating system. Through knowledge of system and application design. Strong verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques. Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems with accounts in complex technical environments. Ability to travel as needed. BS degree or equivalent; advanced degree desirable.
