About the Business Line
AECOM’s Global Support Services (GSS) organization resides within AECOM’s Government business line and is comprised of three divisions — International Development, Operations and Mission Support, and Global Programs. GSS has the international presence, personnel networks and procurement infrastructure to deliver support for any mission, anywhere. We optimize the reliability, availability and sustainability of equipment, logistics systems and facilities for clients around the world. GSS supports the U.S. Government, non-U.S. Governments and industry clients with worldwide program management, planning, design, operations and maintenance, logistics, aviation services, security, international development, environmental and civil engineering and mission and intelligence support.
This position is located in Dulmen, Germany and is contingent upon contract win.
This position will perform a range of duties in the maintenance and cleaning of work, shop, and office areas and outside grounds and storage areas keeping it orderly and free of debris.
Load material on and off of skids, pallets and stands.
Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, scrubbing and polishing floors.
Repair simple structures and equipment.
Operate motor vehicle, scooter or cart occasionally while accomplishing assigned tasks.
Use cleaning solutions and tools as required to mop, buff, polish and scrub surfaces and equipment.
Stage and empty trash and recyclable containers.
Prepare labels as required and prepare basic reports.
Operate tools and equipment in performance of duties.
Able to make preventive maintenance adjustments to related equipment.
Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:
Work is performed in a shop environment with hazardous equipment, moving MHE, obstacles and high volume activity. Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 pounds for short distances, stoop, bend, kneel, walk, have full dexterity, and correctable vision. Outside work in hot and cold or wet weather is often required. Work environment often has fumes or airborne particles. Noise level is loud. Protective devices are required to avoid injury.

High school diploma or GED required.
May substitute experience for education at the rate of one year of general experience for one year of high school.
Minimum three months general work experience which will demonstrate ability to perform requirements of position.
Must hold valid state driver's license.
Must meet security clearance requirements.
This position has a rotating shift.
When required, you may be subject to shift changes, weekend, holiday and overtime work.
Shift work, weekends, mandatory overtime (with proper notice given) and cross-training can be required in order to meet daily/weekly workload requirements.
In accordance with the contract, all personnel performing work require United States citizenship or acceptable proof of naturalization prior to employment.
