Process Engineer (m/f) - Advanced Module Engineering Lithography

GLOBALFOUNDRIES Fab1 is seeking Lithography process engineers in Dresden, Germany. Projects will include development and optimization of Lithography process for 22nm technologies and beyond, linking with other process engineering and integration groups.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with GLOBALFOUNDRIES technology development and manufacturing groups and participate in development of unit process for 22nm technology and beyond

  • Design, execute, and analyze experiments to screen and optimize module unit process and equipment to meet technology (e.g., performance, yield, and reliability) and manufacturing (e.g., process stability, cost of ownership) targets

  • Evaluation and implementation of new Litho processes including design rule verification and support prototype runs in close cooperation with our internal customers in Etch, Implant, and Integration

  • Define and maintain module unit process roadmaps including photo chemistry CIP and evaluation

  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs

    • Required Qualifications: *
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Solid State Physics, or other related engineering field and first relevant experience

  • Basic understanding of and familiarity with Litho process and equipment

  • Understanding of and familiarity with various characterization techniques including SEM, TEM, SIMS and XRD

  • Demonstrated ability to work well within a global matrixes team or environment

  • Outstanding communication skills - both written and verbal

  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and commitments

  • Ideally understanding and working knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and/or Design of Experiments (DOE)

  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently with diverse teams, customers, internal and external partners
