*Principal Technology & Integration Engineer (m/f) - FEoL Epitaxy *
As FEOL Integration Engineer you will be part of the Integration department, participating in advanced leading-edge technology development in GLOBALFOUNDRIES' state-of-the-art 300mm wafer fab in Dresden, Germany. Reporting to the Fab1 Integration management, the primary responsibility of this position is technical ownership of an integrated CMOS process integration module ("epitaxy" module), to drive improvements for enhanced yield and manufacturability and to develop the module to meet the evolving technical performance and cost requirements of the business and its customers.
Your specific responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Design and analyze experiments dedicated to the continuous development of leading-edge CMOS technologies
Develop and implement technical enhancements to meet our business and customer needs
Drive improvements in yield and manufacturability within your integration module
Interact directly with project teams and customers, providing technical guidance and reports
Collaborate with multiple internal teams to ensure predictable performance of the integration module in manufacturing
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Solid State Physics or other relevant technical discipline is required
Several years of semiconductor process experience in multiple process modules or in process integration
Solid working knowledge of modern CMOS process integration with exposure to Front End of Line (FEOL) integration, knowledge of advanced epitaxially grown raised source/drain layers is an advantage
Exposure to external customer interactions and multi-cultural working environments is beneficial
Proven track record in project management and peer leadership skills as well as strong interpersonal skills are required to work in high-performance cross-functional teams.
Candidates must have strong capabilities in the design, execution, and analysis of experiments.
Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
Willingness in traveling.
Proficiency in the English language is required and proficiency in the German language is preferred
