Experienced Process Engineer (m/f) - Advanced Module Engineering Lithography

GLOBALFOUNDRIES Fab1 is seeking an experienced Lithography process engineer in Dresden. The individual selected for this position will work together with other GLOBALFOUNDRIES technology development and manufacturing groups at Fab1. Employee will participate in equipment development activities for advanced technical nodes in Litho. Projects will include development and optimization of Litho equipment for 22nm technologies and beyond, linking with other process engineering and integration groups. In addition to development experience, experience in optimizing equipment for manufacturability will be important. This position will be located to the Company’s Fab 1 operations in Dresden, Saxony.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with GLOBALFOUNDRIES technology development and manufacturing groups and participate in development of unit process for 22nm technology and beyond.

  • Definition, Installation, qualification and debugging of ArFi Equipment and its components including second line support for shift trouble shooting

  • Setup and Sustaining of Equipment Control Plan by using all available data from the equipment

  • Define and maintain module equipment roadmaps including evaluation of new components or equipments

  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.

    Required Qualifications:

  • Technology related Bachelor's plus 12 years of experience or Master's or Diploma plus 7 year of experience; or PhD degree plus 5 years of experience in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Solid State Physics or other relevant engineering.

  • in depth understanding of ArFi Lithography equipment, its specific components, sensors and correction capabilities

  • Demonstrated ability to work well within a global matrixes team or environment.

  • Outstanding communication skills - both written and verbal.

  • Strong organizational skills; demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and able to react to shifting priorities to meet business needs.

  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and commitments.

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in advanced technology (40nm or below Technology related) and advanced ArFi equipment (eg ASML NXT1970 or equivalent)

  • Mastery of principles and working knowledge of various module unit process and equipment.

  • In-depth understanding and working knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC, FDC) and/or Design of Experiments (DOE).

  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently with diverse teams, customers, internal and external partners.

  • Understanding of FEOL and BEOL integration is a plus.
