Job Title System Hardware Engineer (m/f) Advanced Engineering
Posting Location Berlin
System Hardware Engineer for e-Drive systems consist of different sub systems and components, e.g. Motor, power electronics, DC / DC converters, energy storage or combinations
Clarify HW system requirements with customers and suppliers in cooperation with internal stakeholders taking into account the concerns of functionality, quality, reliability/durability and manufacturing
Description of HW use cases, functional structures and behavioral descriptions
Plausibility check of the interaction of the individual components
Creation and description of HW system architecture and interfaces on a logical and technical level
Circuit design analog and digital taking into account of EMC requirements
Layout design and assessment
Design and commissioning of circuits on PCB level
Programming of hardware related software, e.g. base function of HW drivers
Support for system integration and failure analysis
Creation of functional specifications such as system specifications, block diagrams and interface descriptions at the HW system level
University degree in electrical engineering, economics engineering, computer science, control engineering or similar
Several years of experience in automotive development and in design of e-Drive systems
Experience in the field of HW Development and Simulation, e.g. P-Spice, Zuken or Altium
Experience in electronic design for automotive applications, preferably for HEV / EV systems
Knowledge in the field software development
Good presentation skills are required
Very good English and German skills (written and spoken)
High level of communication and the ability to work in a team
High quality orientation
