This is your chance to make history as Manager – Prime for Sellers, driving a major initiative to build Prime Selection for Sellers in 2017 and beyond.

“Prime for Sellers” is a program that enables Sellers to offer their selection in Amazon’s Prime program, and fulfill customer orders from their own warehouses. The program was launched in 2016. As Sales Manager - Prime for Sellers (m/w) you will manage the local Seller Recruiting and Account Management Team. Also, you will work closely with program teams in Luxembourg, the EU Transportation team with regards to carrier partnerships and your EU business counterparts in UK, France, Italy and Spain. In this position, you will be able to gather deep experience in Amazon’s Seller business, technical product development and transportation.

Your mission:

  • You manage the sales and account management team and support the product development team for growing the program “Prime for Sellers”

  • You establish business objectives by forecasting and developing annual quotas and projecting expected sales volume and profit estimations

  • You lead a team of one Team Lead with further Account Managers as well as several Account Managers individually that are dedicated to Seller recruiting, Seller research, analysis and troubleshooting and account management

  • As a manager you ensure that ambitious launch targets are being met throughout the year and increase operational efficiencies

  • You manage also the overall performance of your team and drive their further career development including performance reviews and creation of development plans as well as recruit new open position to ensure the continuous growth of “Prime for Sellers”

  • You and your team test and trouble-shoot new processes for sellers within the program, identify key blockers for program adoption and work on solutions with related teams

  • You shape the program going forward by identifying opportunities and future services to implement new business strategies in the long term. Based on this, projects will be initiated, that you will be able to lead with strong interaction of international stakeholders

  • You apply your deep understanding for the adoption of Sellers to provide recommendations for product improvements within the global product teams and EU Operations

  • You participate in regular business reviews with International Senior Leadership

  • You closely liaise with Marketing Teams and Seller Support to optimize awareness and Seller adoption for the program

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in business, math, or related field, MBA considered a plus

  • +5 years work experience in leading a business unit and/or product management

  • +3 years people management experience, including hiring, developing and change management

  • Work experience in delivering technical projects/programs and excellent project management skills

  • Excellent analytical skills and proven user experience in Excel, Sales Force, Datawarehouse

  • Fluent German and English language skills (verbally and in writing)

  • Strong Bias for Action, highest standards in diving deep, result-oriented, flexible and experienced to work in a high speed and dynamic environment

  • You are used to delivering excellent results despite tight deadlines and ambitious targets

MBA
