The Launch & Marketing Excellence Expert provides a key enabling function to the Commercial organization and will be responsible for creating awareness, education and adoption of the global and appropriate regional technology platforms and applications with local commercial teams. The Launch & Digital Marketing Excellence Manager will influence and support the successful execution of commercial tactics and product launches. As local point of contact with the International Commercial IT Lead, the incumbent will implement and realize the KPI’s to measure the successful execution of digital campaigns and product launches.


  • This position is responsible for implementing campaign and product launch initiatives

  • Be a part of the (P5) Commercial Planning process through partnership with the Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Patient Access organization

  • Enable the external facing P5 and launch tactics with the appropriate global digital tools

  • Continuously and proactively interface with your Commercial business partners.

  • Drive the awareness, education adoption and implementation of the global Commercial IT toolkit.

  • Manages business critical commercial technology projects. Responsible for proposals, analysis, design, build, test, deployment and ongoing support of cross functional business projects.

  • Provide dashboards and reports to track P5 and Launch metrics

  • Provide thought leadership in Commercial Technologies to enable process improvements, drive revenue and lead innovation through technology.

  • Collaborate with the regional and global IT teams to ensure their buy-in, support of and alignment to the commercial business strategies and objectives.

  • Understand and provide clarity and transparency of local commercial needs. Apply global solutions where possible and local solutions only when absolutely necessary.

  • Remain up to date on new and emerging technologies within area of technical expertise.


  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Digital Media or Digital Marketing or relevant work experience.

  • 5+ years work experience in roles such as Commercial IT, Digital Technologies. Experience in Digital Media, Commercial Reporting, and Digital Marketing desirable.

  • Advanced experience of digital technologies such as:

o Content Management Solutions (CMS) (Eg: Wordpress, SiteCore, TeamSite, Joomla, Drupal)

o Web Analytics tools (Eg: Google Analytics, Webtrends or Omniture)

o Email Marketing (Eg: Silverpop, Exact Target, Campaign Monitor)

o Advanced knowledge of website coding languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript.

o Intermediate level with Microsoft Office, Visio and Project.

o Familiar with SharePoint.

o Knowledge of mobile technologies including iOS, Windows 8 and Android based platforms.

o Advanced knowledge of analytic solutions

  • Expert knowledge, experience and know-how of go to market tactics.

  • Understanding of online communities and key success factors for driving results (sales and engagement).

  • Work with a cross-functional P5 and launch team.

  • Strong ability to develop, document and present business documentation including Business Cases, Business Requirements and Project Plans.

  • Strong knowledge of the application development/project management process.

  • Solid knowledge of business process flow / commercial acumen.

  • Strong presentation skills, oral and written communication skills and teamwork and colllaborative skills

  • Good organizational skills with a demonstrated focus on quality.
