Intern – Sourcing Tech Recruitment (f/m) in Berlin, Germany

Amazon is seeking an exceptional talented and innovative Intern – Sourcing Tech Recruitment (m/f) to deliver first-class support for our recruitment team in Berlin. The role is responsible for maximizing talent identification and acquisition in order to meet Amazon’s business growth through managing potential candidates in the market with a high sense of urgency. You’ll be the conduit between internal client teams, hiring managers, and recruiting groups to help Amazon win over talented recruits.

You will cover administrative tasks during the recruitment process from beginning to end. If you have got outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to function in an innovative environment, this is the place for you.

Your tasks will include:

· Source, engage and present top talent on a role-specific basis.

· Identify potential candidates through the use of intricate Boolean searches, user groups, professional and social networking, candidate referrals, networking, web sourcing and the internal ATS.

  • Proactively research and generate new/creative sourcing ideas.

  • Maintain and develop internal database: Track candidate history, tag candidates, build knowledge base of individuals, industries and markets.

  • Keep abreast of trends, developments and industry activity; Know the competitive landscape and provide relevant information feeds to the business.

  • Ensure an excellent candidate experience through prompt follow up and communication with candidates.

  • Project work related to Diversity and Employer Branding.

Basic Qualifications

  • You are enrolled as a student, ideally pursuing a degree with a focus in HR.

  • You have a strong customer orientation with the ability to communicate with candidates and business leaders at all levels.

  • You have the ability to engage candidates and entice them with the Amazon proposition.

  • You are highly pro-active and with the ability to prioritize & multitask.

  • You are well structured, organized and detail oriented.

  • You have excellent communication skills in both German and English (verbal & written).

  • You are confident and skilled in using Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, and Power Point).

Preferred Qualifications

  • You have first experience in Recruitment, HR or Admin, ideally within in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience sourcing passive technical talent.

  • Current with social technologies, sourcing methodologies and tools.

  • Creative thinking to continuously come up with innovative ways of identifying, connecting and engaging with candidates.

  • A fair understanding of AWS products.

  • Ideally you have got experience working with engineering/technical teams in the software/internet/online industry.

  • Prior experience of working on high-volume recruiting campaigns.
