About the team

In the team we are strong believers in the DevOps paradigm and Continuous Delivery. Our team consists of DevOps engineers working side by side with backend, frontend and mobile development teams to deliver features and improvements to our users on a daily basis. We practice automation on every level, running tests and deployments all the way up to production. We deploy automatically and continuously to production every day.

Our systems serve millions of unique users per month, hosted in a global multi-region setup. We are always looking to improve performance, scalability and reliability.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and improve build, test and deployment automation

  • Continuous Delivery focus to allow quick feedback to developers and deploy often

  • Work with operations and development to troubleshoot and fix problems

  • Develop new ways to automate testing and expand the coverage

  • Administration of CI systems like Jenkins and Gerrit

  • Maintain AWS cloud based R&D; environments

Qualifications

Good knowledge of:

  • Linux

  • Networking, TCP/IP

  • Programming in Bash, Python, Ruby or Node.js

Experience with these technologies will make you stand out:

  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) or similar cloud technology

  • Docker, virtualization technologies

  • Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery

  • Test and deployment automation

Non-technical skills:

  • Agile practices (Kanban or Scrum)

  • Fluent in English written & spoken

  • Communicative and open to collaboration with team members

  • Excited to learn, always searching for improvements and learning new skills
