Gallup is seeking an energetic, driven, sales savvy professional who can support our Managing Consultants meet the demands of our growing business. This individual will be a strategic networker with the confidence to get through to key decision makers. Our Business Development Consultants are competitive with enough drive and initiative to work on their own, as well as part of the team. They have a natural self-assurance and charisma to get people excited about new ideas and are able to confidently promote Gallup’s scientific tools.

You will enjoy working with talented people in a fast-paced sales team environment and will be a self-motivated self-starter.

What you’ll be doing …

  • Supporting the Business Development team by aggressively prospecting and developing leads using a variety of sources, including online business/social networking platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook etc.

  • Assisting in tender building activities including writing proposals, creating sales collateral; and attending meetings when required.

  • Owning the lead process, from mining new business opportunities to qualifying and setting appointments

  • Researching and developing leads and business development opportunities

  • Engaging targeted strategic enterprise accounts

  • Working directly with your sales partners to understand their needs to support the sales cycle: setting and exceeding daily, weekly and monthly targets

What you need …

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree

  • Excellent written and verbal communication in German and English, other languages are an advantage

  • A minimum of one year Sales or B2B experience

  • Persuasiveness and drive – you are a natural entrepreneur with a flair for networking

  • Confidence and charisma to build relationships with clients via telephone, email and in person

  • Candidates must be eligible to work in Berlin on a full-time basis.
