The Sr. Systems Engineer Interface Electronics (m/f) is responsible for developing the functional system architecture of electronic Products for the automotive e-mobility market.
He / She defines,verifies and applies on system and application level the TE Electronic Charger Product Platform
He /she is responsible Core team member (CTM) in a cross functional project team of the TE
LEANPD development process.
Within this role he / she will be responsible for communicating system requirements and specifications to the acting design team to complete design detail drawings and other documentation necessary to build the product within committed targets.
He / she will review specifications, consult with customers, as well as work with Global TE Engineering personnel to implement design solutions and produce and maintain documentation detailing the Smart Products.
He / she will coordinate development feasibility & risk assessment studies for new opportunities.
He / she will work with product testing procedures, equipment, and evaluation techniques along with test engineers to verify product performance parameters.
He / she will also be responsible for thorough and consistent documentation of application notes, data sheets, and verification reports.
He / she will acquire expert knowledge in Interface Electronics.
He/she will optimize the product platform in terms of quality and cost targets as part of the continuous improvement process.
Master of Science in Electronic Engineering; System engineering or Mechatronic Engineering with strong background in electrical or mechatronic engineering
·More than 4 year experience in engineering of automotive components and familiarity with automotive quality requirements (QS9000; TS16949)
He / she will apply fundamental know-how of Electric/Electronic Assembly technologies (Housing/ Sealing /Cable Assembly /Testing)
Fundamental knowledge about Electronic Technologies
Strong knowledge of electrical standards for the E- mobility market
Ability to work well with process engineering, project management, quality, and purchasing functions of TE internal departments and major automotive customers.
Skills for leading of engineering project teams
Ability for dealing with commitments and a goal-oriented way of working
Effective problem solving skills by using modern analysis and design tools
Excellent communication & presentation skills (oral & written).
