The CapEx Controller reports and forecasts capital expenditure (CapEx) for the Automotive EMEA Business Unit in co-operation with business partners within as well as outside finance. He/She performs periodic analysis on the spending and also drives optimization as well as standardization of CapEx related practices across EMEA plants / legal entities.

Tasks Summary & Responsibilities

Reporting & Planning

  • Creation of the regional yearly budget in co-operation with Operations, Sales & Marketing, Research & Development and EMEA plants

  • Regional reporting and forecasting of capital expenditures in the EMEA region within the month end close cycle

  • Analysis

  • Standard as well as Ad-hoc reporting and analysis of the capital expenditures in the EMEA region and presenting the results to management and business partners

  • Proposal and implementation of measures meant to keep and reach the periodic CapEx targets of the business

  • Coordination with EMEA plants / legal entities on CapEx related topics

  • Periodic revenue pipeline analysis and correlation with related investments

  • Process Optimization

  • Reporting optimization and improvements within SAP Investment Management module

  • Standardization of CapEx reporting / accounting practices across EMEA legal entities

  • Enhanced business partnering with CapEx stakeholders outside finance

Qualification

  • University degree (economics or controlling preferred). Internationally recognized accounting qualification (CPA, ACA, or ACMA) is a plus.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
